Monoalkyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride

Monoalkyl trimethyl ammonium chloride is one of the main quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactants; it has three main products, including Dodecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride, Hexadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride, and Octadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride. Dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride is a colorless or light yellow transparent colloid. It is soluble in water, ethanol and has good compatibility with cationic and nonionic surfactants.

Dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride has good chemical stability, heat resistance, light resistance, pressure resistance, strong acid, and alkali resistance. Dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride has excellent penetration, emulsifying and bactericidal properties. Dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride is used as a cationic surfactant, and can also be applied to catalysts, emulsifiers, disinfectants, fungicides, antistatic agents, and the like.

Hexadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride is a cationic surfactant suitable for use in softeners and hair conditioners. Hexadecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride can be used as a waterproofing agent, a natural fiber, a softener for synthetic fibers and glass fibers, a phase transfer catalyst, a polyester silking accelerator, a latex product release agent, an antifoaming agent, and a softener.

Octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride is a typical quaternary ammonium salt cationic surfactant; it has various properties such as softness, antistatic, sterilization, disinfection, and emulsification, and is soluble in alcohol and hot water. Octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride has good compatibility with cationic, nonionic surfactants or dyes, and should not be compatible with anionic surfactants, dyes or auxiliaries. It has good antistatic property, softness, emulsifying property, dispersibility, permeability and cohesiveness, and has excellent bactericidal and antifungal action, and is easily soluble in alcohol and hot water. Octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride has good compatibility with cationic, nonionic surfactants or dyes. Avoid compatibility with anionic surfactants, dyes or auxiliaries. Octadecyltrimethylammonium chloride can be used as an emulsifier for synthetic rubber, silicone oil, asphalt and neoprene asphalt waterproof coatings, and it is the main component of the conditioner.
